Return and Exchange Policy (U.S.)

This Return and Exchange Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which customers (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) may return or exchange apparel purchased from [Your Company Name] (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order through our website or retail channels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. Eligibility for Returns
1.1. The Company accepts returns only for apparel that is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition, with all original tags, packaging, and labels attached, where applicable.
1.2. To qualify for a return, you must request authorization within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the product was delivered to you.
1.3. The Company reserves the right to inspect returned items and to deny refunds for items that do not meet the above conditions.
1.4. Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation or receipt) is required for all returns.
2. Customized and Personalized Apparel
2.1. Customized or personalized apparel, including but not limited to garments featuring customer-specified text, logos, embroidery, printing, or alterations, are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where a manufacturing defect or fulfillment error is confirmed by the Company.
2.2. In the event the Company, at its sole discretion, approves the return of a customized item, a restocking fee equal to a percentage of the item’s purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount to cover customization and handling costs. Percentages are as follows:
(a) Value brands: 20%
(b) Mid-tier brands: 30%
(c) Premium brands: 50%
2.3. Refunds for approved customized item returns will be issued to the original method of payment, or another agreed upon method of payment, in accordance with Section 5.
3. Exchanges
3.1. Exchanges are accepted only in the following cases:
(a) The product is damaged or defective upon arrival; or
(b) The Customer requests an exchange for a different size of the same item and color, subject to availability.
3.2. Exchange requests must be submitted to the Company within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery.
3.3. If the requested size or item is unavailable, the Customer may opt to receive a store credit or a refund, less any applicable restocking fees.
3.4. All exchanged items must meet the same condition standards outlined in Section 1.
4. Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
4.1. The following items are deemed final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:
(a) Customized or personalized apparel, except as provided in Section 2.2;
(b) Items labeled “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Non-Returnable”; and
(c) Items showing evidence of wear, washing, alteration, or damage after delivery.
5. Return and Refund Procedure
5.1. To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our Customer Service Department at acreativewash@gmail.com or (630) 708-0555 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA). Items returned without an RA number will not be accepted.
5.2. Upon receiving the RA, you must ship the item(s) to the return address provided by the Company within ten (10) calendar days.
5.3. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect due to Company error.
5.4. The Company is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
5.5. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), the Company will process the refund within five (5) to ten (10) business days. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, or another agreed upon method of payment, less any applicable restocking or shipping fees.
6. Compliance and Governing Law
6.1. This Policy complies with applicable U.S. consumer protection laws, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations concerning refund disclosures and deceptive trade practices.
6.2. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or waive any rights you may have under applicable federal or state law.
6.3. This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
6.4. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kendall County, Illinois, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
7. Amendments
7.1. The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time, without prior notice, by posting the revised version on our website.
7.2. Any changes will become effective as of the “Last Updated” date listed above. Your continued use of our services after any such modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
